Alex from Roar and Clank
”My name is Alex from Roar and Clank. I‘ve been in the cosplay scene since 2011 but have turned my eye onto the creation of big foam armours and monster costumes in 2016. I’ve always been fond of monsters and knights and It’s a great pleasure to see my dreams be realized into physical creations. It’s always a delight to take on challenges while making a new costume. It’s great to try out new materials or to transform my body with a monster suit.
I’m most proud of my Dark Samus from Metroid Prime 3 and my Drone Jaeger Kaiju from Pacific Rim: Uprising. My Alien Xenomorph is definitely not forgotten! I always love to see the reactions to this iconic monster.
It’s my honor to be a guest and judge this year at Abunai! 2019 and I can’t wait to see all the wonderful creations on stage this edition!”

My name is Lieven and I’m a Cosplayer and Cosmaker from Belgium. I’ve done this hobby rather low-key since 2015, but in 2017 I finally started making my own costumes. I absolutely fell in love with sewing and also enjoy crafting a whole lot.
Besides making costumes, I also partake in competitions. Because I love acting my heart out on stage and I always learn new things and techniques from the judges and my fellow competitors. Whenever I compete at a con, you’ll most likely see me doing a dramatic act on stage, because that’s definitely my favourite kind of act.
Some of my favourite things to cosplay is anything fantasy, especially Dragon Age and D&D, since those always give me the opportunity to combine many techniques and textures. Other favourite things to cosplay are from a few anime series like Evangelion, JJBA, Houseki No Kuni and various video game series.”
