Gunpla Speed Build – Gundam Mad
Ever fancied building a Gundam Model? Been there, done that and think you’re the fastest there is? Come along to the Gunpla speed build a find out! There will be prizes for the fastest builder and even bigger prizes for people with the best imagination. Every attendee will get a free kit afterwards (strictly on a first-come-first-served basis).
Iai: Samurai Workshop – Jeffrey of The Samurai Workshop
Knowing how to use a Japanese sword is a life-long journey of training and study. Take your first baby samurai steps in this Iai 101 class on how to draw, use, and resheath a Japanese sword.
This training will be done with a bokken (wooden training sword) and a saya (sheath) which are available on a first-come-first-serve basis at the workshop.
Kempo Kuntao – Kempo Kuntao Nederland
Kemp Kuntao is a martial arts known centuries ago in Asia as ‘the forbidden and private sport’. In this workshop, Kempo Kuntao Nederland will demonstrate various armed and unarmed facets of the sport. Kempo Kuntao Nederland reached the top 4 on Holland’s Got Talent in 2017. Maneki Neko Workshop – Sandra
Maneki Neko is the beckoning cat figurine displayed at the entrance of businesses in Japan. In this workshop you will use your creativity to make your own Maneki Neko sculpture with clay. After the workshop they will be baked and will be available for pick-up at the info desk.

Always wanted to know how to make nasty wounds, scars and bruises? CosplayClues will give you tips and tricks to bring SFX makeup to life. In this workshop you’ll be working with high quality products from the well-known brand Mehron.
Sprite Cross Stitch Workshop – Melissa
In the Sprite Cross Stitch Workshop you will learn how to stitch your own (fairy-like creature). Cross stitching can be daunting for a beginner, but no need to panic! If you are unable to complete your sprite during the workshop, you can take your creation home with you to finish it.
Sushi Workshop – Taji
Japanese sushi chef Taji will host a workshop in which you create your own sushi. All prepared dishes are to be shared among all participants. This workshop is open to vegetarians. Signing up is required beforehand, you will need to pay a fee to attend. On Friday attendance is limited to 36 people, on Saturday there’s room for 40 people.
Onigiri Workshop – Taji
Japanese sushi chef Taji will be hosting an onigiri workshop. Onigiri are rice balls wrapped in seaweed, often shaped like a triangle. In this step-by-step workshop Taji will show you how to make great onigiri. After the workshop you can lunch with the onigiri you created. Signing up is required beforehand, you will need to pay a fee to attend. This workshops has room for 36 people max.
Papercraft Workshop – Melissa
Another Abunai!, another papercraft workshop! This year there are new papercraft models to choose from for crafters of all experience levels. Starting crafter and experienced crafters, come grab some scissors and glue and let your imagination run loose!
Voice Acting Workshop – Bob van der Houven and Christa Lips
On Saturday two voice-acting talents will give a workshop. Christa Lips is an actress and musician. She translates and lends her voice to many animated series. Her most famous role is Ash in Pokémon. Bob van der Houven presented radio shows and narrates TV documentaries. He voiced Kwik, Kwek and Kwak, Stitch and Dr. Doofenshmirtz.
Wig Workshop – Fay Jun
Are you ready to go on an epic adventure? Hop onto Fay Jun’s spaceship and embark to the planet of weft hair extensions. Arm yourself with hairspray and scissors to battle stray hairs. Defy gravity to impress Weftian Royalty and become a knight of Wig styling. Aside from the available dummies, you are free to bring your own wig. Your two captains will be available for troubleshooting, questions, holding hair or helping you smell our products.
