Abunai! is looking for a staff member who can help us with setting up and recruit Events for our programme at the Abunai! convention. Things that spring to mind are coming up with ideas for workshops, lectures, competitions and everything that can be interesting, fun or just plain amazing for our visitors and work out these events for the convention itself.
- a good communicator;
- enthousiastic about the Abunai! programme;
- interested in Japan and the Japanese (pop)culture.
Then we are looking for you!
As a member of the Events team you will work on shaping the programme for the Abunai! convention when it comes to all the workshops, lectures, competitions and such, in which our visitors will be able to participate all weekend long. You will think along with the ideas for the programme, will look for people or organizations who can arrange these events for us, make arrangements about these events, make sure materials and related matters are taken care of and will make sure that the events you have prepared are held without a hitch.

For this position you will need around 8 hours a week, where the work load will be lower in the beginning of the year, but might be higher as convention gets closer.
