Pokémon Battle Revolution.

10 years back you were proud if you could show your awesome Dragonite on a 16 bit Game boy screen. Present, we are proud to show our powerful EV trained Pokémon of level 100 on a big screen. The Pokémon Battle Revolution compo is back and you have the chance to compete with other trainers. Who is the strongest Diamond/Pearl/Platinum Trainer at Abunai this year? Put your trainer cap on and get your type chart ready, because you gotta beat them all, POKÉMON!

Pokémon Black and White; All weekend!

You read that right, all weekend. This year all trainers who own Black or White (or both) have the opportunity to battle the entire weekend. Once you register as a competitor you are allowed to search for other trainers ALL around the convention site. Once you see one you are allowed to challenge them to a battle of your liking. Need a quick one vs. one match since you need to go to the main stage? No problem. Are you particularly bored (not likely at Abunai) Do a long 6vs 6 battle. Want to double battle, just ask the opposing trainer. At the end of the Weekend the Grand Pokémon champion of the Abunai League will get a grand prize.

Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

What can we say about this? If we even started about taking Smash bros. away from the convention we would lose about half of our visitors. The famous Nintendo smash em up fighter is back. New year, new chances to be the best brawler. No free for all, no items, no controller limitation and no dual battles. Just you and your Falco versus Kirby. Practice makes perfect, so make sure you get your game face on at this competition.

		ProjectorGames 2011

No competition, but as always the big screen games are back at Abunai! Participate in the massive game with about 25 other people in ridiculous fast paced games. Don't lose track, and don't lose your concentration because it will be over in a second. If you want to know more about the projector games they display ask a friendly gopher in your neighborhood.

		6-hit Combo

In a Gameroom Far Far Away.....

After our Abunai debut last year, we return as the foremost supplier of games, consoles and of course gaming competitions in this year's gameroom. We have forgotten more about video games than you've ever known in your life, and we brought another great selection of games for you to enjoy! As a special courtesy this year, the gameroom will have a ready-to-read list of all the games that are available for you to play. If you have a specific game in mind that you'd like to play with your mates, just check the list to see if it's available. If so, give one of the 6-hit Combo guys a shout and they'll be glad to boot it up for you if the console is free ofcourse!

Aside from the extensive selection of games to be played casually, we also got several exciting competitions lined up in which you can test your video gaming skills against other con-goers over the course of the weekend. This years planned competitions include:

Friday

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift

An anime convention gameroom is not complete without a few games with that classic anime aesthetic, and as the spiritual successor to the beloved Guilty Gear franchise, BlazBlue surely fits the bill! After its well received debut with BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, the franchise is back with this new installment with more characters and more craziness than ever before. Gigantic Tagers will be busted and Ice Car is cruise control for cool, so drop by on Friday evening and test your skills at Blazblue: Continuum Shift.

Saturday

Mortal Kombat

Anyone remember Mortal Kombat 4 through 8? Me neither! But apparently hell recently froze over, for Mortal Kombat has returned to its roots with its ninth and latest installment. All your favorite Kombatants return to see who is able to break the most ribs and lose the most blood, so be sure to test your might at our Mortal Kombat Kompetition!

Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition

With Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition, Capcom proudly brings us the best next gen Street Fighter game ever... for the third time! This game has it all, from wrestling frycooks to small Indian people who are apparently made of rubber (no, really). So come and join our Street Fighter competition, and see if you can beat your opponents' Dragon Punch and see if the heart truly lies in battle!

Tekken 6

Tekken as a franchise is beloved by fans of 3D fighters everywhere, and its cast of characters is all set to conquer the hearts of 2D gamers next year as well, when they take on Capcom's cast of Street Fighters for the upcoming Street Fighter X Tekken. In the meantime though, everybody still wants to become the King of Iron Fist (whatever that means) but only one can prevail... and that one person might just be you, so get ready to crack some skulls at the Tekken 6 competition!

Femme Fatale Mystery Competition

Just like last year's Puzzle Bobble competition, this year's gameroom will also have a compo meant especially for the ladies! Difference is that this year, we won't be revealing the game you ladies'll be playing untill the moment of the competition...so if you're curious, don't fail to sign up! And remember: only those of ye olde XX chromosome need apply. (amendment for all you smartasses: no male crossplayers, if you please!)

DJ Hero 2

Yo yo yo, word UP Abunai! We know you's all be diggin' dat DJ Hero, so this here compo be your chance to square off 'gainst other aspiring DJs to the beats of all-time classics such as Vanilla Ice and MC Hammer! Will you be the next DJ Tiësto? Probably not (hate to burst your bubble), but this Sunday you can at least try walking away with the grand prize at our DJ Hero 2 competition!

Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds

After over a decade of hype, the greatest franchise crossover in the history of videogames makes its return... that's right, this is Marvel, baby! Both Marvel and Capcom's number one guys are all here, from everyone's favorite Merc with a Mouth to the one and only Mag-Freakin'-Neto. The Fate of Two Worlds shall be decided, but as for winners: there can only be one! It doesn't get much crazier than this game, so come join the fun at our Marvel vs Capcom 3 competition.

Whole weekend Competitions

Speedrun Competition

6-hit Combo is holding a special competition at this year's Abunai convention. Instead of facing off directly against other players, this competition simply asks you to beat a level in the least amount of time possible! To participate, simply notify one of the 6-hit Combo guys at any point during the weekend when you're in the gameroom, and he'll watch you play and note down your time, name, visitor number and email adress. After the end of the convention, the person with the fastest time through will be contacted and get a prize sent straight to his or her doormat! You can only make one official atempt at winning this competition, but the game'll be running all weekend so you can take plenty of oppertunities to practice! Wonder what game it is? Well, let's just say this forest animal isn't normally blue in real life.

Best Video Game Cosplay

Now we know everyone attends Abunai for its awesome selection of videogames, but apparently a select few con-goers also engage in this quant little hobby affectionally dubbed "cosplay". If you're one of those attending Abunai 2011 dressed as your favorite video game character, you're in luck! 6-hit Combo's made it possible for you, too, to win an awesome prize! Just speak to one of the 6-hit Combo guys in the gameroom at any point during the convention while wearing your video game costume. You'll have your picture taken and we'll note down your name, visitor number and email adress. After the convention all cosplay photos will be looked at by our Official 6-hit Cosplay Judging Team (trademark do not steal), and the person we judge to have the most awesome video game costume at the convention'll be contacted so we can get them their well-deserved prize!
