Arulithia from Germany will be joining us as cosplay guest of honor at Abunai! 2017 She has ten years of cosplay experience up her sleeve and is well-known for her on-point wig styling and crossplay skills. It’s the love for the fictional character that motivates her to strive for perfection when creating costumes and portraying her favorites. That is why Kazé Entertainment chose her to portray Kisaragi Saya to promote the release of Blood-C.
Aside from cosplaying at conventions, she loves to work backstage as organizer of the German EuroCosplay preliminaries or as judge at other events. She ran several workshops to share her passion and knowledge for this hobby with fellow cosplayers.
Arulithia: “Everyone starts small and it’s essential to share and distribute one’s knowledge to everyone who may profit from it. It makes me incredibly happy if people let me know my tips were helpful for them”.
Arulithia will partake in various activities during Abunai and share her experience with you at her panels.
Astarohime is one of the most well-known Russian cosplayers in the world. She’s been cosplaying for over 10 years and has more than a hundred costumes in her wardrobe, blowing minds with outstanding precision of her costumes. She’s a dreamer, prop-maker, seamstress and fairy.
Astarohime is a living example of no limitations in cosplay – she is known for making fantastic princess cosplays with huge and intricately decorated dresses as well as portraying male characters with severe simplicity. Her best known work is, perhaps, cosplay of Trinity Blood artbooks by Thores Shibamoto. Created with love and care, it was singled out by the artist herself.
All cosplays, from sketches to the finest details, are made by Astarohime. That’s why Astarohime has been named the winner of over 50 cosplay contests in Russia, Europe and Asia. For the past three years Astarohime has been a Russian representative on foreign cosplay conventions as a guest of honor and a member of the jury. Her considerable experience allows her to justly judge the participant’s work, while her positive personality always leads her to encourage and cheer them up before taking the center stage. I n cosplay she most of all she values the chance to give others pleasure and to have fun.
Astarohime is a self-made girl. Everything, from sewing to styling wigs to applying make-up she learned on her own. Despite never touching a lipstick before the age of 15, Astarohime reached unbelievable heights in that area in just a couple of years.
She believes that cosplay gives a unique chance to find hidden talents in oneself and to give those a chance to blossom. She doesn’t want to stop and rest on her laurels, always ready to learn something new and exciting.

Russia seems to have a never-ending pool of amazing cosplayers and one of them is definitely Emperor. Equally charismatic and chameleonic, she knows how to pull off a beautiful and elegant Princess Serenity and a dashing dwarf Thorin Oakenshield, without anyone being able to tell it’s the same person behind the costumes.
Starting with the Japanese Visual Kei style, she is now an accomplished cosplayer, showing her love for her favorite characters through an excellent display of skill.
