Competitions are almost the most popular events at the abunai conventions. Don't forget to sign up, so you are certain you can participate!

Cosplay Act Competition

Abunai's most popular event is still the Cosplay Act Competition, generally attended by as many people as will fit in the rooms. Teams of cosplayers will compete in who will bring the audience the most creative and/or amusing performance. A team of talented judges will determine who will win prizes.

This competition has no prizes for best costume - if your goal is to show the quality of your costume to the public you should participate in the Cosplay Fashion Show instead.

Fashion Show

Cosplay Fashion Show

Did you make a costume you're so proud of, you want to show it off to everybody and take a chance to get in a prize for it too? Then the Cosplay Fashion Show is just the thing for you. The Cosplay Fashion Show is a competition in which you show every detail of your costume on a catwalk in front of a crowd and jury, and the prizes for the best costumes will be awarded in this cosplay show. The competition is not for acts though, if you have an act to perform you should participate in the Cosplay Act Competition. There is currently a limit of twenty participants in this competition.

Anime Music Video Competition

The Abunai AMV competition returns obce more this year! For this competition you have to make a 3-minute Anime Music Video before the convention. The AMV's will be shown on the big screen during this amazing show. The best AMV's, as chosen by our team of judges before the convention, will be going home with some great prizes.

Gamesroom Compo's

Here will be a list of compo's that will be held in the Gamesroom or related places.

Pokémon

Our Abunai gamesroom will, just like last year, hold a Pokémon competition. But this year things will be different. This to minimize the amount of hackers ( or Pokésavers). Registration won' t be on the convention. Instead, if you want to compete, you'll have to send your registration to us. Once we have replied, you must send us the team you want to use. Futher details can be found on the forum. This all is to make sure that you, the competitor, can have a nice and honest competition. The competition will be held on saturday at 10 a clock in the gameroom. Good luck to all of you Pokémon trainers.
