The mystery is finally revealed!

A lot of people have been eagerly awaiting for us to tell them why and how Jeroen was murdered. Well, feed your great Dane, put on an ascots and grab some Scooby snacks, because here it comes!

What really happend...

The murderer was none other than UncleRo, as revealed during the closing ceremony. 'Ro was totally gay for Jeroen, but missed some vital clues why Jeroen didn't respond to his advances. Jeroen was a) straight ('Ro did not know) and b) had a girlfriend. 'Ro found out about all this and made a vital decision. When he couldn't have Jeroen, no one could.

Most of our suspects used a Death Note to (try and) kill Jeroen. They all failed because of a very simple fact. A Death Note does not work in real life. It is a work of fiction. We did see 'Ro writing, but it was actually a letter addressed to Jeroen. Jeroen never read that letter for obvious reasons. When UncleRo found out about Jeroen being straight and in a relationship, he plotted to poison him. The poison was administered by use of Sake. The Sake was in a set that could be found during the opening on a table on the stage. The poison did its work quickly. The set disappeared after the opening and was found again some hours later, meticulously cleaned.

Who won and what did they win?

We had many entries, and alas, most of you did fall for the traps laid out by the staff members and gophers. But three people did get it right.

Annelies Duran

Annelies hit the nail right on the head. She got it exactly right. She got a set of more than 40 manga from the nice people of Kana. This set contained every volume of every series published by Kana in the Dutch language to date.

Annemarieke van Spanje

Annemariek did not only get very close to solving our litle mystery, she also got very creative and scored massive bonus point. She fingered Max as being UncleRo's tool of Revenge, using his hatred towards Jeroen to his advantage. She also worked out a lot of details about the plan.
This earned her a set of VIP tickets. She will be allowed to take up to 3 of her friends to abunai with her for the full VIP treatment.

Jeroen du Chatinier

Jeroen wasn't far off either. This time around Cynni was the one who did it, but was aided by UncleRo in her quest to take over Abunai! His innovative thinking got him a lot of bonus points, and got some key items right. He made it to win second prize with the most points for originality. Jeroen and 3 of his friends will receive free tickets to Abunai.

A word in closing

In closing we would like to say that we enjoyed having such an event. A lot of people played and we got some original answers. Among which was "Female Intuition". We would like to thank everyone who played our Murder Mystery Event with us and we all hope to welcome you again next year.
